Reservation FAQs
Can I reserve a table for my group?
Yes. During regular hours you can reserve tables at no charge. Reservations are limited to half of our covered seating, and we cannot hold unused tables exclusively for your group.
How long is my reservation for?
We assume a reservation lasts two hours or less. If you need more time, please ask when you book.
I want to rent the taproom and beergarden for a private party. How much is that?
Rentals outside of our regular hours start at $450.
Do you have any private rooms?
No, but you can reserve tables in several areas: the tap room (about 85 people), the beergarden (200+), the game room (about 10) and the party porch (about 60).
Can I use the facility for a wedding?
Yes, as long as it does not conflict with regular business, and at no extra charge. We are a good fit for casual, budget-friendly weddings, less so for a formal, fully private one.
What beverages do you serve?
Beer, wine, cider, mead, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks. No hard liquor. Outside beverages are not allowed.
Can I bring my own water / Yeti / Stanley container?
No. Free water is available at the bar and, in summer, in the beergarden.
Do you offer any beverage packages?
No. Guests pay for what they drink, either on a tab or with drink tickets.
Can I buy beer by the keg?
Yes, for off-premise use only.
What is on the Riggs food menu?
We have no kitchen. Food trucks are usually in our parking lot during peak hours; see the calendar for the schedule.
Can I bring my own food to the tap room?
Yes, if it is fully prepared. No cooking on site and nothing too messy. We do not provide plates or serving ware.
Can I have my event catered?
Yes, with a licensed caterer. We suggest starting with our food trucks.
Does Riggs charge a catering fee / percentage?
Usually not. A fee may apply if your caterer needs extra space.
Can I bring a tent?
Yes, through a professional installer. Riggs does not cover costs or permits and must approve the setup in advance.
Can I decorate?
Yes, in your reserved area, with family-friendly decorations you can remove. No tape on surfaces and no inflating balloons on site.
Can I come in early to set up / decorate?
Please arrange it in advance. The space may still be in use by another group.
What happens if I show up early?
Your tables are ready at the agreed time. If you arrive early, they may still be occupied.
What happens if I show up late?
We hold the reservation for 15 minutes. If you are running late, call the taproom.
Can Riggs plan my event and take care of everything?
No, but we are happy to give referrals and coordinate with your vendors.
What does it cost to make a reservation and what do I get for it?
Reserving a couple of tables is free. Unclaimed tables are released after 15 minutes.
What if I need to cancel my event?
